Sea Turtles Expeditions!

Nicaragua is blessed with many beaches where the Olive Ridley turtles come to lay eggs. These sea turtles weigh about 45kg and are spread throughout the world. There are nests in Asia and Africa and despite this dispersion, this type of turtle is endangered and in some locations under threat of extinction.

La Flor Wildlife Reserve is one of the places where you can watch the arrivals. The reserve is more than 3.000 hectares and is located 22 kilometers from San Juan del Sur.
